Albert Tooley, age 76 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on October 18, 2022. Albert was born on May 9, 1946, in Guthrie to Carl and Ethel Lois (Gambill) Tooley.

Albert graduated from Coyle High School. On October 26, 1967, he married Barbara Hoel and together they had two sons: Mark and Drew.

Albert was a veteran of the Oklahoma and Texas National Guard where he served for 17 years. He retired from the U.S. Government where he worked as a logistic management specialist.

Albert enjoyed working with cattle, doing puzzles, and being a professional tinkerer in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife of almost 55 years, Barbara Tooley; sons Mark Tooley and wife Patsy of Toney, Alabama and Drew Tooley and wife Jordan of Guthrie; siblings Bill Tooley and wife Marsha of Guthrie and Phyllis Brewer and husband Jerry of Canadian, Texas. Albert is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ethel Tooley and one son Craig Allen Tooley.

Services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the First Southern Baptist Church (202 E. Noble Ave., Guthrie, OK, 73044) with Pastor Greg Hudson officiating.

Visitation will be held on October 20, 2022 from 1:00 P.M – 7:00 P.M and October 21, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Hayes Funeral Home.
