Obituary

Angel Raivyn Stephens was born on July 4, 1987, in Pasadena, Texas, to Ronnie Lee Carey, Sr. and Danielle (Lundy) Moore. She passed away on January 5, 2026, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at the age of 38.

Angel spent her early years in Texas before later moving to Bakersfield, California. Five years ago, she made Guthrie her home, where she built a life surrounded by love, family, and meaningful connections. On April 2, 2023, she married her husband, Lance Stephens, in Coyle, Oklahoma. Their marriage was one filled with devotion, laughter, and deep love.

Angel found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved fishing, singing, and spending time with those closest to her. Her greatest happiness came from being with her children and loved ones, creating memories, and sharing moments that mattered. Angel also dreamed of traveling and seeing more of the world, carrying a hopeful spirit and a love for what life could offer.

Above all, Angel will be remembered for her caring heart, her love for her family, and the way she made others feel valued and loved. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Angel is survived by her husband, Lance Stephens; her children, Arkeyta-Ann Carey, Dani-Rose Joyce Gorden, Benjamin-Jax Thomas Gorden III, Cole-Giden Lewis, and Ronnie-James Dio Gorden; her stepchildren, Ashden Stephens, Breanne Stephens, Julie Stephens, and Maci Lynn Stephens; her siblings, Eryn Sarnowski, Cheyanne Alvarado, and Robert Scales; and her grandchildren, Michael Terry, Melodie Stephens, and Jordon Stephens.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronnie Leigh Moore, Jr.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Coyle Christian Church, 200 W. Main St. in Coyle, OK.
