Anthony "Tony" George Stoud, age 64, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

He was born on August 1, 1961, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to Richard Stoud and Marianne Elizabeth (Pukas) Stoud. A longtime Oklahoma resident, Tony made his home and his heart here, forming lasting friendships.

Tony worked in maintenance at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, where his hard work, reliability, and good humor left a lasting mark on those he worked alongside. Outside of work, his greatest passion was fishing. Tony often said that "a bad day fishing was better than a good day anywhere else," and he lived that truth, finding peace, joy, and connection to nature every time he cast his line.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Tweedie; sisters Julia Smith and Elizabeth Stoud; brother Richard Stoud; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Teresa in 2022.

Those who knew Tony will remember him for his kind heart, his love of the outdoors, and his ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
