Pastor Arnold Gene Jones, age 93 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on February 13, 2022 in Guthrie. Arnold was born on April 18, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Arnold was the pastor at Full Gospel Fellowship Church. He loved taking care of the roses at church. Arnold enjoyed being busy and active and was always doing something. He was in the United States Navy and served during World War II. Arnold married Irene Nelson and on February 21st they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include his wife Irene Jones of the home in Guthrie; four daughters Jeannie Timmerman and husband Wesley, Gail Goss and husband Don, Cynthia Bush and husband Wayne and Fran King and husband Bobby; son David Oliver and wife Shelia and two daughters-in-law Marilyn Clark and Kathy Oliver. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 17 great grandsons, 16 great granddaughters and two great-great grandsons.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents Will M. and Lovenia (Smith) Jones, his birth parents John D. and Gladys M. (Smith) Sanders, his first wife of 45 years Willie Mae (Glasgow) Jones, daughter Lovenia Mae Jones, son Gregory Gene Jones and son Carl Oliver.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 424 N. 10th, Guthrie, Oklahoma with Rev. Ron Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Hayes Funeral Home, 117 E. Noble, Guthrie, Oklahoma from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
