Assunta Ann Arbitelle was born on September 3, 1954, in Naples, Italy to Ralph and Rita (D'Antonio) Prisco. She passed away on March 6, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 69.

Assunta was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2016 from Visalia, California to be closer to her family. Assunta was a member of the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, where she was passionate about promoting Italian culture and traditions. She was also a member of the Magic Castle, which supports the art of magic.

Assunta had a kind heart and a love for animals. Assunta also enjoyed gardening, playing golf and volleyball.

Survivors include her daughter Melanie Roth and husband Greg, sister Marie Bell and husband Kevin, brother Sal Prisco, sister Rose Nordbrock and husband Mark, granddaughter Clarissa LeeAnn Roth, granddaughter Abigail Marie Roth, nephew Shawn Prisco, and niece Amanda Prisco. Assunta was preceded in death by her former husband John Gortney, who passed away in 1997; husband Ralph Arbitelle, who passed away in 2017; parents Ralph and Rita Prisco; brother Anthony Prisco; nephew Dennis Mitchell; and niece Angelica Mitchell.

A graveside memorial service for Assunta and Ralph Abitelle will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
