Brooklyn Rayne High, age 16, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on August 30, 2023, in Guthrie. Brooklyn was born on June 1, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Phillip and Sherry (Gates) High.

Brooklyn lived in Guthrie her entire life. She was a Junior at Guthrie High School and a member of band, National Honor Society, FFA and played tennis. Brooklyn was a proud member of Girl Scouts and the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She attended the First Southern Baptist Church. Brooklyn was employed at Edmond Center Court where she worked the front desk.

Survivors include her parents Phillip and Sherry High, her sister Kaitlyn High, two brothers Jordan High and Dakota High all of Guthrie. Grandmother Pauline Gates, grandparents Larry and Kathy High and great grandmother Melanie Judkins. Aunts and uncles Randy and Vicky Gates, Peggy Levesque, Marquea Goen and Chris and Lori High. Cousins Hunter and Darci Gates, Logan and Gavin, Kasey and Jordyn Gates, Jarrott Gates, Troy, Wayne and Ray Levesque, Gracie Goen, Cameron High, Michaela High and Presley High. Brooklyn was preceded in death by grandmother Janice High, grandfather Daren Gates and great grandparents Frank and Alma Judkins.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Please wear bright rainbow colors in honor of Brooklyn's love for I.O.R.G., or pastel colors which were Brooklyn's favorite.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Hayes Funeral Home.
