Carolyn Latane Price, age 79 went to be with Our Lord on March 9, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Keith L. and Carolyn E. (Dowtin) Purcell.

Latane loved to bake cakes and make jams. She was a member of the
First Southern Baptist Church. She was active in her church and loved to help people. She was a softball champion whose team won State in 1953. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved to be with them and would do anything for them.

She married Richard Price in 1953. They had three children, Matthew Price, Amanda Price Ward and Benjie Price.

Survivors include her daughter Amanda Ward and husband Jerry of Guthrie, her brother Mike Purcell and wife Linda of Mustang and sister Linda Davis and husband Leon of Mustang. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2013, her two sons and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the First Southern Baptist Church with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
