Funeral services for Calogero "Charles" Ognibene will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 2 PM in the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Hardison officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery, Guthrie. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 12 PM untill 8 PM  and Friday from 9 AM untill 1 PM.

Charles was born on January 16, 1928 in Montevago, Italy, to Giuseppe and Crisenzia (Gigametta) Ognibene and passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Guthrie. On July 28, 1956 he married Margherita Frisina and a year later sold their farm and moved to the United States. In 1985 they moved to Guthrie. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church of Guthrie and loved to farm and work in the garden.

Charles is survived by his three children, Peter Ognibene and wife Kendra, Joe Ognibene and wife Barbara both of Guthrie and Christine Ognibene of Konawa. Two Brothers, Leonardo and wife Grace and Stefano and wife Angela both of New York, New York. Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister Nardina Bavetta.
