Charletta Marleen Jones was born August 7, 1951 to Charley Mack and Alva Faye Jenkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Charletta attended Mark Twain Elementary School (K-6), Central Junior and High School (7-11) and completing senior year at Classen High School. During her junior and senior year she completed requirements and became a Licensed Cosmetologist before graduating.

Working as a beautician for some years. She met and married Robert Jones in 1972. Charletta also worked as a bridal consultant and later for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Robert and Charletta had four children together each grew and got married adding four more loved ones.

Charletta had lived in Guthrie for 18 months and previously lived in Edmond. She enjoyed taking care of her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband Robert of the home in Guthrie, Children Tamara and Patrick Kuriger, Tonya and Jim Stansbury, Robert IV and Valerie Jones, and Trinity and Chris Perrin all of Guthrie, granddaughters Ryan, Krista, Robbie, Kirstin, Briana, grandsons, Shannon, Michael, Spencer, Christian, and Porter. She is also survived by her sister Charlene Lambert of New Hampshire, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charley Mack Jenkins, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma with Pastor John Punni of West Guthrie United Methodist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
