Cody Joe Nance, age 38 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on January 1, 2023, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Cody was born on August 21, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dennis Nance and Darla (Leverich) Dunagan.

Cody lived most of his life in the Guthrie area. He loved going fishing, going to the lake, and watching the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys play football. He also enjoyed playing the drums, playing jokes on people, and playing PlayStation with his nephew Gage.

Survivors include his wife Jessica Hickstein, mother Darla Dunagan, daughter Brooklyn Bain, sister Angela "Angie" Bross, and two grandmothers: Carmen Leverich and Glenora Nance. Cody is also survived by three aunts: Denise Hurley, Brenda George and Diana Lay, nephew Gage Wilks, niece Raina Wilks and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Nance.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
