Cotey L. Horn, age 76 passed away April 3, 2018 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was born on July 23, 1941 in Dickens, Texas to George and Minnie Bertha (Taylor) Russell.

Cotey graduated from Shattuck High School in 1959. She retired from the United States Postal Service where she was a Postmaster. Cotey had lived in Guthrie for a year and a half and previously lived in Medford. Cotey enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Survivors include her son Randy Horn and wife Mindy of Elk City, daughter Kimberly Burright and husband Brian of Guthrie, 3 sisters, Helen Batman of Woodward, OK, Linda Russell of Burlington, OK, Carolyn Bond of Wichita, KS and 1 brother, John Russell and wife Shelly of Sulphur, OK. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be h held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Christian Church in Dover, Oklahoma with Pastor Matt Berry officiating.
