Darlene Mae Stuart, age 84 of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born on August 25, 1936 in Springfield, Minnesota to Allen and Mae (Schwanke) Dumke. She went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Darlene married Robert L. Stuart in Washita, Iowa in 1955. Of this union, two children were born, Bob and Mary.

Darlene had been living in Guthrie for the last 25 years. She attended Community Church where she was active in both the Women's and Children's Ministries. Darlene enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, and embroidery, but most of all, Darlene loved being a grandma.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years R.L. Stuart, son Robert "Bob" Stuart and wife Dani of Yukon, daughter Mary Hayes and husband Keith of Oklahoma City, brother Allen Dumke and wife Wanda of Minnesota, brother John Dumke and wife Nita of Nebraska, brother David Dumke and wife Sueann of Wisconsin, nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Mae Dumke.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Community Church with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City at 1:30 P.M. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
