David Ray Hamm, age 63, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away on July 23, 2024. He was born on August 30, 1960, in Harrah, Oklahoma, to Bud and Mildred (Brown) Hamm.

David graduated from Harrah High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for four years. He received expert badges in the M-16 rifle bar and hand grenade bar. He served as a cannon crewman for a little over three years.

He married Debe Richards on April 20, 1992. He worked for First Capital Trolley for 17 years and deeply cherished his Trolley family.

David would do more than give the shirt off his back; he would open his home and give everything he had to someone in need. He was the true embodiment of Christian selflessness. David loved his dogs; their playful antics and unwavering loyalty brought him immense joy and comfort every single day.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Debe; son Kyle Hamm and wife Lacy of Guthrie; brothers Darrell Hamm and girlfriend Donna Brown of Choctaw and Perry Matheson of Choctaw. David was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Mildred Hamm.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
