Diana Kay Nelson Plagg was born on July 27, 1956, and died on April 5, 2023, after a long and courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Darlene McCamey and Phillip Nelson. She was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Rufus and Edna Deadwiley. She is survived by her aunt, Rhonda Edmondson and her husband Mark, brother Mark McCamey and wife Angela, daughter Courtney, and several nieces and nephews.

Diana lived in Guthrie all her life. She loved to read and garden and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan. Over the years, she worked in several different professional fields, medical being her favorite, she loved helping people. Her constant companion was her sweet dog, Jethro.

Diana was loved and will also be missed by many friends, especially Sue Saunders - her neighbor and constant caregiver, best friend Kim Harrison and husband John, Shelley Dawes, Gail Rhodes Baker and Sherry Mason. We all have special memories that will comfort us.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, grandparents, and sister, Sherry.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Summit View Cemetery.
