Dolores Valgene Emmons, age 83 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away April 7, 2017 in Guthrie. She was born on July 17, 1933 in Guthrie to Jess and Naomi (Habben) Moyer.

Dolores married Wayne Emmons on April 16, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She lived in Guthrie most of her life, she attended the Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include her 3 sons Bobby Emmons, Delbert Emmons and Chuck Emmons (Amanda Ricado) all of Guthrie and daughter Shelly Foster of Heavner, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Mike Gatlin officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
