Dorothy Evelyn Midkiff, 77, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away on May 17, 2026. She was born on April 18, 1949, in Richland County, Illinois, to Gerald Heady and Louise E. McPeak Heady.

Dorothy was a private person who lived quietly and kept a small circle throughout her life. She found comfort in her independence and spent much of her time focused on the people closest to her.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Thompson, and her grandchildren, Valrie Brooke Thompson and Johnathan Douglas Thompson.
