Dwayne Allen Wilson, age 57, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away at his home in Guthrie. Dwayne was born on February 1, 1966, in Guthrie to Melvin Earl Wilson and Marilyn Joyce (Upham) Darden.

Dwayne had worked for Prime as a truck driver and drove a bus for Guthrie Public Schools. He had lived in Guthrie his whole life. Dwayne enjoyed fishing, eating BBQ, and watching OSU football. Dwayne did not know a stranger, he loved talking and making friends, and would give the shirt off his back. He was especially fond of his three dogs, Tazz, Rico, and Zelda and his two cats.

Survivors include his two children, son Shawn Wilson of Edmond and daughter Shannon Wilson of Mustang, his sister Delane Wells and husband Bryan of Bethany. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Aubrey, Carson and Gavin and numerous nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Wilson and Marilyn Darden.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
