Edith Mae Ellis was born on December the second, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and thirty three to Sie Smith and Mary Kimbler Smith.  She passed on July 4, 2026 attaing an age of 92 years.

She married Leo Raymond Ellis in 1953. They moved into a house on the family farm living a farm lifestyle, which continued most of her life. Playing pitch with friends and relatives was a near weekly event.

Of that union two children were born: Raymond Edward Ellis and Cheryl Ann Ellis.

Leo R. Ellis and Cheryl Ellis Jones preceeded her in death. She leaves behind her son Raymond E. Ellis, wife Loretta and son-in-law Robert Jones.

Numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren were always close to her heart.

May perpetual light shine upon her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Harmony Cemetery in Guthrie.
