Faith Evelyn Helms, age 78, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on January 15, 2022. Faith was born on February 22, 1943, in Stafford Springs, Connecticut to Alduff and Beulah (Morris) Doody.

Faith had lived in Guthrie the past year and previously lived in Ola, Arkansas. She loved her dog Baby and enjoyed sewing, crafts, coloring and playing card games.

Survivors include her three children, Penny Helms and husband Delbert of Plainview, Arkansas, Ronnie Dean Williams and partner Kirk Brumbaugh of Palm Springs, California, Bruce Hamilton Williams and wife Patricia of Guthrie, Oklahoma, her dog Baby and two brothers, Al Doody and Skip Doody of Duncan, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeff Albert, Garrett Williams, Megan Flowers, Christopher Newman, Jonathan Helms, Sabrina Duff, Stacy Newman, Leslie Pimentel and Michelle Salazar and great grandchildren Xavier Newman, Alysandra Newman, Jeffrey Albert, Vanessa Albert, Isabella Salazar, Emma Salazar, Aykin Duff, Ryana Duff, Kimber Williams and Bernadette Salazar. Faith was preceded in death by her husband Charles, son Neal Newman and four sisters, Charity, Hope, Bernice and Ruthie and one brother Douglas.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Heady Coleman officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma.
