Florence Elizabeth "Flo" Gilbert, age 75 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away July 24, 2016 In Guthrie. She was born on September 10, 1940 in Hamilton, New York to Arthur and Alice (Guthrie) Burgdoff.

Flo previously lived in Weatherford, Oklahoma and was employed as a Cafeteria Clerk with the Weatherford Public Schools. She married Dennis Gilbert on January 12, 1991 in Weatherford. Flo enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include her husband Dennis Gilbert, 4 children, Robert Snyder of Weatherford, OK, Mindy Gates and husband Dwayne of Madison, TN, Terry Shelton of Carney, OK, Scott Gates of Carney, OK, 2 sisters, Shirley Howe and husband Bill of Courtland, NY and Phyliss Heller and husband Dave of Blodgett Mills, NY. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 children, David and Cindy.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Zion Church, 701 N. Daniel, Weatherford, OK. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.
