Gay Lee Sanderson, age 76, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away February 14, 2014 in Guthrie. She was born December 26, 1937, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Gayle H. and Roberta L. (Douglas) Harman.

Gay Lee married Charles F. Sanderson on June 21, 1955 in Colon, Panama, he preceded her in death in 1977. She married Joel Jack Morton on November 14, 1980 and he also preceded her in death in 2002.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, garage sales, antiquing, playing bingo and dancing. She also enjoyed gardening and canning.

Survivors include her eight children, Doug Sanderson of Edmond, Jan Cook-Hernandez of Meridian, Jil Jillson of Guthrie, Sandi Wooldridge and husband Joel of Cleveland, TX, Charles Scott Sanderson and wife Lisa of Crescent, Michael Sanderson of Guthrie, Joel Jason Morton and wife Chauncey of Guthrie and foster son Robert Young of Guthrie.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Gay Lee was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Charles F. Sanderson and Joel Jack Morton.

Services were held on Monday, at 10:00 AM, February 17, 2014 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Donna Morton of Living Water Tabernacle in Meeker, OK officiating.
Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Summit View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
