Gayle Norval Yearwood passed away February 4, 2014 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born January 16, 1933 to Lonnie and Goldie (Couchman) Yearwood in Geary, Oklahoma.

Gayle graduated from Geary High School and later attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics. He served in the United States Air Force and later was employed with Continental Air as a mechanic working on cars and airplanes.

Gayle loved racing stock cars and watching NASCAR. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching the deer. He also enjoyed going to the casino.

He is survived by his former wife and special friend Roberta Isley, his two children Diedra Yearwood of Santa Fe, NM and Loren Yearwood of Houston, TX. he is also survived by one sister Lola Biereg and husband Ray of Euless, TX.

Services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
