Genzia W. Redden, age 69, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away June 10, 2013 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was born on September 23, 1943 in Groningen, Holland to William and Alida (Hasselman) Boonstra.

When she was thirteen she moved to the united States from Holland.
Genzia married Richard Redden on October 4, 1964 at Lake of the Ozarks. He preceded her in death in November 2011.

She was employed at S.W. Medical center in Liberal, Kansas and retired in 2005. She enjoyed her work and volunteered at the Jr. High School in Liberal. She had lived in Guthrie for eight months and attended the Cowboy Church.

Survivors include her three children, Clara Tyler and her husband Steve of Guthrie, Fred Redden and his wife Nedra of Avon, Colorado and Scott Redden of Mandan, North Dakota. She is also survived by her brother Jo Boonstra and his wife Lisa of California and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Liberal, Kansas. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home.
