George James Kusek, Jr. age 63 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away December 6, 2017. He was born on January 11, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to George J. Kusek, Sr. and Rita M. (Schmidlkofer) Kusek.

George attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Putman City West High School. He enjoyed golf, music, woodworking and especially his dog Coco. He was a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and a direct descendent of Anthony Tescier.

Survivors include his 2 step children, Dewey Leniger and Cloi Locke both of Midwest City, his sister Helen Kusek of Guthrie and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and friends, Tim Woodring, Marvin Cartmill, Stanley Hilgenberg, Ronnie Boyd, Alan D. Hawkins, Larry Smith and his beloved dog Lucy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
