Georgia Mae Grant, age 77, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on February 3, 2024, in Guthrie. Georgia was born on April 30, 1946, in Anaheim, California to George and Mabel (Poe) Neil.

Geogia graduated from Enid High School in 1964. She moved to Guthrie in 1979 and previously lived in Edmond. She had worked at both Bradford Village and Masonic Home Nursing Homes. Georgia enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, bowling, cooking, camping, gardening, traveling and going to casinos. Christmas time was her favorite time of all.

Survivors include her five children, Charlotte Richardson of Guthrie, Charles Sweet and wife Jamie of Edmond, Sara Woods and husband William of Lubbock, TX, Alice Grant Stevenson of Norman and Tammy Owen and husband Bob of Lancaster, CA. Georgia is also survived by her two sisters Barbara Davis and husband Leonard of Newton, KS and Betty Padrick of Wilmington, NC, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald Grant on February 26, 2022, grandchild Dustin, two brothers, Robert and Donald Neil, three sisters, Beverly Neil, Lorraine Hale and Sharon Pope.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
