Georgia Juanita Shelton, age 93, of Guthrie passed away on July 16, 2012, at the Colonial Estates Nursing Home, in Guthrie. She was born on July 4, 1919, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Charles Leonard Lee and Frances Carolina (McKnight) Lee.

She married Clifford Shelton in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1970.

Georgia was a member of the Church of Christ, she had lived in Blackwell and worked as a nurses aid at the Blackwell Regional Hospital. She had lived in Guthrie since 2008.

She is survived by her daughter Vicky Land and her husband Gordon of Guthrie,
five grandchildren, Mitzi, Cory, Sara, Luci and David and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, two brothers and one grandaughter.

There will be no services. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home, Guthrie.
