Gordon Craig Land, age 63, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away April 11, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born August 15, 1951 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Larry and Margie (Summers) Land.

Gordon graduated high school in Easton, Kansas. He married Vicky Shelton on July 16, 1988 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Gordon retired on March 31, 2013 from Southern Star where he worked as a mechanical measurement tech. He had lived in Guthrie for 8 years and previously lived in Greenwood, MO. His hobbies included building trailers, fishing and metal work.

Survivors include his wife Vicky of the home in Guthrie, 5 children, Mitzi (Marty) Thomas of Guthrie, Sara (Paul) Jensen of Oxford, MI, Luci (Tim) Bonewell of Blackwell, David (Melanie) Land of Wichita Falls, TX, and Cory Adams of Yukon. He is also survived by his sister Lavena Farmer and brother David (Linda) Land both of Leavenworth, KS, 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Memorial services for Gordon will be held Saturday, April 18 at 3:00 P.M. at the Guthrie Golf & Country Club, 3401 E. highway 105.
