Obituary

Helen Marie Graber-Glenn passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on May 20, 1935, to Fannah May (Thomas) Graber and Walter Graber.

Helen married James Glenn on February 17, 1955, and together they had three children: Deborah Elaine Glenn, Donna Jean Glenn, and James Randall Glenn.

Helen had a lifelong love for horses and was an accomplished barrel racer, winning many awards and even a trophy saddle for her skill and dedication. She worked for many years as an insurance adjuster at All State Insurance, where she was recognized for her commitment and achievements before retiring.

In her retirement years, Helen enjoyed traveling with her sister, Clara Ann Stout. The two shared a love of cross-stitching and crocheting, often spending time together collecting supplies for their projects and enjoying peaceful days at their lake homes.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Fannah Graber; her children, James Randall Glenn, Deborah Elaine Glenn, and Donna Jean Glenn; her brother, John Thomas Canada; and her sister, Clara Ann Stout. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces, great-nephews, and even great-great-nieces and nephews.

A special thank you goes to her great-niece Kimberly, for her loving care and support during Helen's final days.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Golden Age Nursing Home and Companion Hospice for their compassion and care.

At Helen's request, there will be no visitation or services at this time.

She will be remembered for her independence, strength, and adventurous spirit. Helen's life left a lasting imprint on all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished always.
