Ivan David Smith, age 59 of Cashion, Oklahoma was born on December 10, 1962 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Deuward and Wilma (Knief) Smith. He passed away on November 22, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

Ivan moved to Oklahoma from Arkansas in 1980. He worked as a big equipment mechanic and was a road foreman for Kingfisher County.

On October 11, 2004, Ivan married Eulinda Smith were married by a justice of the peace in Texas.

Ivan's favorite thing to do was working in his shop where he could always be found tinkering with something. He enjoyed playing cards and World of Warcraft. He was also a self-taught computer technician and enjoyed building computers for himself and family.

Ivan is survived by his wife of 18 years Eulinda, daughter Letisha Miller and husband Joshua of Lindsay, son Christopher Smith of Cashion, daughter Ashlea Musante and husband James of Oklahoma City, son Zach Smith and fiancé Kayla of Guthrie, daughter Sequoia Smith and boyfriend Brian of Mounds, sister Teresa Armstead of Newalla, sister Brenda Davidson and husband Jim of Cashion, and father-in-law Jesse Smith. Ivan is also survived by his five grandchildren: Bradley Miller, Aubree Secondi, Andrew Miller, Brady Smith, and Baker Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ivan was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Harmony Church (1201 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044).

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
