James Allen McLain, age 49, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away November 24, 2012, in Guthrie. He was born May 15, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to Albert Victor and Barbara Gaye (Feverston) McLain.

James married Angela Grosse on November 27, 1998 in Hinesville, Georgia. He had lived in Guthrie the past eleven years and was employeed with Zivko Aeronautics for the last six years.

James was a member of the Guthrie Christian Church. He loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and was passionate about cooking.

James is survived by his wife Angela of the home in Guthrie, his mother Barbara Richmond and husband Elvin of Waldron, AR, children Kralynn McLain of Guthrie, Destany McLain of Guthrie, Brevon McLain and wife Candace of Stillwater, Dorothy McLain of Guthrie, his stepchildren Bonnie Baker and husband Percel of Savannah, GA, Jennifer Clarke and husband Steven of Edmond, Patrick Zupo and Victoria Powell of Stillwater, Eric Zupo of Pensacola, FL,. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Albert V. McLain, Jr. of Guthrie, Sean McLain and wife Kim of Guthrie, Katrina Florio and husband Josh of Colorado Springs, CO, Christina Ryerson and husband Bill of Pensacola, FL, Elvin Merl Richmond, Jr. and his wife Keely of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and many many others who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Albert McLain, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Guthrie Christian Church with Brother Don Riepe officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. untill 8:00 p.m.
