James Russell Quesenberry was born February 13, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia to Russell Dempsey Quesenberry and Ida Mae (Jones) Quesenberry. He passed away on October 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by both parents, brother John Robert Quesenberry, sister Patricia and husband Edward Mendrick, son Rodney Moore III and grandson Cory Quesenberry.

He is survived by his wife Linda Quesenberry and mother-in-law Ernestine Nichols of the Home. Children Russell Quesenberry of Guthrie; James G. Quesenberry of Guthrie; Lanieca and husband Edward Larue of Tallahassee, FL; Laurel and husband Sean Davis of Guthrie; Vivian Miller of Guthrie; Tonya and husband Bill May of Guthrie; Debbie and husband Mark McHone of Crescent; and other children Shelly Henry of Crescent; Glenn Miller and Amy Thompson of Guthrie; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bill Mountford and his wife Lori; sisters, Alma Wagner; Roberta Overcast; Nancy Russell and Carolyn Briggs.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
