Jeanette Lou Hawkins, age 84, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away July 3, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on December 14, 1930 in Guthrie to Elias Russell and Della B. (Moad) Hawkins.

Jeanette had lived in Guthrie most of her life. She was a member of the Church of God. She graduated from Guthrie High School in 1948. Jeanette was employed at Oklahoma Furniture Manufacturing and she operated a daycare business out of her home.

Survivors include her sister Jerene Fulkersin and husband Vernon of Guthrie, niece Rhea Frick and husband Travis of Guthrie, step nieces Christina Padgett and husband Justin of Guthrie and Kellee Hall and husband Dale Gene of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by 4 great nieces that she loved dearly and a lifelong friend Tommy Gray of Guthrie. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Gene Lee and sister Lillie Joan.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Hayes Funeral Home chapel with Brother Art Bostic officiating. The casket will not be open at anytime. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
