John David Krausse, 42, died peacefully on October 14, 2017 in Edmond, OK. He battled cancer for three years and found strength in his belief in Jesus Christ and knitting hats for other cancer patients.

John was born on November 22, 1974 in Kansas City, MO to David and Tima Sue Krausse. He graduated from Guthrie High School in 1993 where a favorite subject focused on photography. He graduated from Guthrie Job Corps with a certification in security. He had many jobs and some of his favorites were working security for Kilpatrick Turnpike Construction and Will Rogers World Airport. He was active in his church, First Southern Baptist in Guthrie.

John is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Trina Krausse and Suzanne and Trevor Hamman.  He was preceded in death by his parents David and Tima Krausse.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Guthrie. Visitation will be held on Friday starting 9:00 AM and the family will receive guest from 6 PM until 8:00 PM.
