Obituary

Kaila Ann Casey, 22, of Mulhall, Oklahoma, passed away on November 17, 2025. Born on March 1, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Kaila came into the world with a gentle spirit and a tender heart, qualities she carried throughout her entire life.

Kaila grew up in Mulhall, a place that offered her both familiarity and comfort. Kaila attended both Guthrie High School and Mulhall-Orlando High School and graduated in 2021. She played the flute and was involved in marching band. In her later high school years, she was a cheerleader for Mulhall-Orlando.

After living in Tallahassee, Florida, for four years, Kaila returned to Oklahoma at the beginning of 2025. Being closer to family, especially her little sister Emma, meant everything to her. Emma was her best friend, her confidant, and one of the people she loved most in the world.

She worked as a barista at Scooter's Coffee in Guthrie, where she became known for her kindness, her steady warmth, and the effortless way she made people feel welcome.

Kaila had a natural talent for makeup and took pride in the way it allowed her to express herself. She adored being outdoors, where she found comfort in the sound of the wind and the stillness of the trees. Nature was one of the places that truly felt peaceful to her.

Kaila will be remembered for her kindness, sincerity, and the tenderness she carried within her. She was gentle and thoughtful, loyal and deeply empathetic. Her presence had a softness to it, the kind that made others feel safe. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, and those who loved her will forever carry the weight of what she meant to them.

Kaila is survived by her mother Crystal Duffle; her father, Jeremy Casey; her siblings, Chastin Ellis and husband Sean, Jaide Green and husband Turner, Noah Golden and spouse Shane, Emma Casey, Landon Casey, Liam Casey, Gabriel Casey, and Bella Davidson. She is also mourned by extended family members and many friends who loved her dearly. Kaila was preceded in death by her biological mother, Brittany Hitchcock.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
