Karolyn Marie Dabbs, age 68, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away April 20, 2013, at her home in Guthrie. She was born August 2, 1944, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Orval and Ruth (Seal) Warren.

She married Ralph Dabbs on June 10, 1961, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2012.

Karolyn lived in Guthrie most of her life. She was a member of the Woodcrest Baptist Church. She was a former caregiver at Cole's and Golden Age Nursing Homes. She loved to cook, work in the garden and OSU Athletics. Most of all she loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She never met a stranger and loved the Lord.

Karolyn is survived by four children, Sue (David) Apple of Guthrie, Ralph Everett (Darla) Dabbs of Perkins, Liona May (Bryon) Simpson of Oklahoma City and Joe (Aleshia) Graham of Edmond. She is also survived by her brother and sisters, Nioma (Merle) Crane of Washburn, MO, Mary (Delbert) Perry, Raymond (Barbara) Warren, Ruth Ann (Blake) Orr all of Winfield, KS, Jackie (Mike) Grogan of Ellis, KS, sister in law Gladys Jones of Edmond; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, son Franklin E. Dabbs, grandmother Nioma Seal, her parents and step dad Jack Plummer.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Community Church with Brother Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery, Arcadia, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
