Leslie Ralph Watkins, age 83, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away July 22, 2012 in Guthrie. He was born December 10, 1928, in Hazelgreen, Missouri, to Leslie Ralph and Velma (Walker) Watkins.

Ralph had lived in Guthrie for 46 years and previously lived in Perry, OK. He was a truck driver for Montgomery Ward for over 26 years, attended the Methodist Church, belonged to Oklahoma Travlers Club and Teamsters.

He was married to Dottie Stake and she preceded him in death in 1969. He married Reba Rutledge in 1970 and she also preceded him in death in July of 2011.

Survivors include his daughter Sally Hudson and husband Van, grandson Jacob Triplett, two great grandchildren Mason and Makenna Triplett and one brother Gary Watkins and wife Peggy of Lebannon, MO. He was preceded in death by his first wife Dottie and second wife Reba, two sons Stephen Ralph Watkins and Leland Doyle Wilson, grandson Matthew Dean Triplett and two sisters Bonnie Middleswart and Joann Corneilson.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Sturgill officiating, burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
