Lester B. Johnson, age 79, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away July 18, 2011, in Guthrie. He was born on June 22, 1932 in Waukegan, Illinois.

Lester retired from the Air Force and was also employeed with the City of Guthrie.

He married Dorothy Reupert on November 17, 1963 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and had lived in Guthrie since 1977.

Lester is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home in Guthrie; four children, Kathlene Johnson of Tulsa, OK, David Johnson of Alaska, Tammy and Darrell Kusick of Florida and Jana and Wayne Gizinski of Cheyenne, WY. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Greg Johnson, Chris Johnson, Savannah Blunt and Lisa Cisco; two great grandchildren, Tanner Cisco and Robert Duran. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home.
