A memorial service for Linda Dawn Ellis will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Linda was born on September 27, 1959, and passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 64. Linda was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Howard and Louann (Harmon) Ellis.

Linda graduated from Guthrie High School in 1977. She was very fond of rodeos, so fond of them that she won several championship events doing barrel racing. Linda worked in the oil field industry all of her life in gas compression.

Linda had a special love for pets and Michelob Ultra. She had a huge heart and was always trying to help others.

Linda had many friends along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews that she cherished and loved: Benjamin Cody Ray Ellis, Traci Semrad, Terina Ellis and husband Austin, Tamara Merrick, and husband Rob; great nieces and nephews Makaylah Sullivan and husband Gage, Blaze Snyder, Brooke Sheppard, Carly Merrick, Hunter Snyder, Emma Ellis, Ava Merrick, Chase Merrick, Sophia Merrick, Benny Ellis, and Raiden Ellis.

Linda is survived by her brother, Brett Ellis, and wife, Sandra. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheri Lou Ellis, and her parents, Benjamin Howard and Louann (Harmon) Ellis.
