Lori Ann Jackson, 54, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Lori was born on August 6, 1970, in Roseboro, North Carolina to J.W. Jackson and Rainey Joyce (Faircloth) Brown. She moved from Amarillo, Texas to Guthrie in 1988, where she planted roots and built a life centered on love, family, and service to others.

Lori worked for many years as a CNA, a career that reflected her deep compassion and natural ability to care for those around her. Whether she was in the kitchen cooking a meal or lending a listening ear, Lori found joy in caring for others, especially her family. She had a big heart, a warm spirit, and a way of making everyone feel at home.

She is survived by her father, J.W. Jackson; her children, Perry Don Jackson and Rainey Jackson and partner Daniel Smith; her brothers, Andrew Jackson and wife Donna and Randall Jackson; and her beloved grandchildren, Carsten, Harlyn, River, Avery, and Corbin.

She is also survived by her chosen family, friends who became some of her greatest support and joy: Rosalind Smith, Kira Smith, Tyra Smith, Wendell Smith, and Craig Nephew.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Rainey Brown; her stepfather, James Brown; her brother, Brian Jackson; and her sister, Terri Brown.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Lori's life and the many people she touched with her kindness.
