Lynda Rae Boyd, age 72 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away October 9, 2017. She was born on February 26, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John and Dorothy (Hall) Crownover.

Lynda married Harvey Boyd on June 17, 1966 in Guthrie. She enjoyed being with her family, computer games and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband Harvey, her son Rodney Boyd (Robyn) of Guthrie, her daughter Angela Boyd-Williams (Cristy) of Oklahoma City; 3 brothers, Thomas Crownover (Betty) of Oklahoma City, John Crownover of Burlingame, KS and Al Crownover of Edmond; 2 sisters, Donna Huffman of Oklahoma City and Nancy Fillmore (Glen) of Mulhall. Lynda is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Dorothy Ann.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2017 in Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
