Obituary

Mallisa Renee Fields-Sandborn, age 41, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on March 12, 2024. Mallisa was born on August 20, 1982, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Willy Fields and Teresa (Gann) Farmer.

Mallisa shared a deep love for riding motorcycles with her beloved husband, Jimmy. It was their passion, and they planned their vacations every year around Bikes, Blues, and BBQ in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Her heart was overflowing with love for her children and grandchildren, but she thought her grandchildren hung the moon. Mallisa enjoyed listening to podcasts and crime shows, especially Forensic Files, which she often used to fall asleep. She loved cooking and grilling with her family and was obsessed with shoes. Though she had a touch of OCD, Mallisa's determination to keep her house clean was always accompanied by her singing rap music, particularly Eminem's "Mockingbird." She cared deeply for everyone's well-being and never hesitated to help strangers. Her goal was always to achieve the best, and nothing less.

Survivors include her husband Jimmy; father Willy Fields and wife Terri; mother Teresa Farmer and husband Robert; children Demetry Fields and wife Kyleen, Connor Fields, Fredrick Hall, Preston Hall, Blake Johnson-Sandborn and fiancee Baylee Brown, Carter Dady-Sandbon, Kaylee Macygin, and Ethan Owens; sisters Shannon Clanin, Emily Fields, Natasha Aguilera and husband Ricardo, and Crista Ash; sister-in-law Sherri Wood and husband Shane; Aunts Tanya Tucker and husband David, Betty Gray and husband Tristan, and Maria Shetley; grandchildren Neviyah Fields, Eziah Fields, and Elliyanna Sapphire Parsons. Mallisa was preceded in death by her sister Tina Fields, grandfather William Gann, grandmother Connie Triplett, grandmother Carol Matthews, grandfather Billy Fields, father-in-law Harold Sandborn, and mother-in-law Barbara Sandborn.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the West Guthrie United Methodist Church, with burial following at Summit View Cemetery.
