Marieca Louise Faulkner, born on April 19, 1944, to John T. and Louise (Pohlemann) Custard, passed away on December 24, 2024, in Coyle, Oklahoma.

Marieca was a dedicated employee at Southwestern Bell (AT&T) for over 33 years. She graduated from Tryon High School and was a member of Liberty Church. Marieca enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, savoring her Dr. Peppers from Sonic, and visiting Walmart to chat with people. Each morning, she began her day with an iced tea in hand, settling into a quiet corner where she immersed herself in the pages of her Bible, drawing strength and serenity for the day ahead.

Survivors include her children Leesa Faulkner of Coyle, Tony Faulkner of Stillwater, and Debbie Faulkner Thurman of North Carolina; brother Larry Custard of Hinton; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Marieca was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Troy Faulkner; parents John and Louise Custard; brothers Harold, Ray, Marshall, Bill and Robert Custard; sister Bessie Denton; grandson Anthony Cole Faulkner; and great grandson Caleb Land.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crescent Cemetery,

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12:00-7:00 P.M.
