Mary Catherine Stuart, age 90 of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on August 30, 2021 in Edmond. She was born on May 4, 1931 to Hugh and Mary (MackInaw) McIntosh in Steubenville, Ohio.

Mary Married Robert L. Stuart on February 24, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio. Mary worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and received her associate degree from Cameron University. She lived in the Edmond and Guthrie area since 1987 and previously lived in Cushing and Duncan. She attended the Waterloo Church of Christ in Edmond, OK.  Mary was extremely proud of her Scottish heritage. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her six children, Danny Stuart and wife Becky of Edmond, Hughie Stuart and wife Kathy of Blackwell, William Stuart and wife Mary of Missouri, Jessie deJong and husband Rudy of Edmond, Cathey Young and husband Brent of Irving, TX, and Roberta James and husband Kenneth of Newcastle, sister Eleanor Dickinson of Lantana, TX and brother Ian McIntosh and wife Jan of Rolla, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert L. Stuart on February 10, 2012 and two sisters Patricia May McIntosh and Margaret Terry.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Newcastle United Methodist Church (121 E. Fox Lane, Newcastle, OK 73065) with Rev. Ashley Green-Young officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie.
