Rev. Nallen Wayne Chennault, age 84 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away March 28, 2015 in Guthrie. He was born on December 7, 1930 to James and Laura (White) Chennault in Guthrie.

He married Marilyn L. Miller on January 15, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rev. Chennault was a member and the minister of The Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Guthrie and retired from there in 2015. He enjoyed whittling, his knives and muzzleloaders.

Survivors include his 4 children Glen Knox and wife Tiny of Wewoka, Stephen Chennault of Duncan, Joanna Segura of Fort Worth, TX, Jon and Christy Chennault of Guthrie; 2 sisters, Violet Hickman and husband Robert of Jones and Velda Simor and husband Dean of Reno, NV. he is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn on November 5, 2014, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 1 great grandchild.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Jimmy Pounds officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
