Norma Kay Wade, age 81 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on September 11, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Norma was born on July 5, 1938 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Bert and Bertha L (Osburn) Griswold.

Norma lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for 30 years and spent the last four years living in Guthrie. She worked as a supervisor for the Teacher Retirement System of Oklahoma. Norma enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her four children, Jennifer Eschmann and husband Thomas of Guthrie, Mark Wade, Kimberly Wade of Oklahoma City and Jason Wade of Edmond and three grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents,  husband William Joseph Wade in 1977, three sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Lawrie Cemetery North of Guthrie. The casket will not be open at anytime. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
