Ruth Ann Johson, age 53, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away November 6, 2012, in Guthrie. She was born on April 6, 1959 in Guthrie to Donald Ray and Shirley A. (Sanders) Johnson.

Ruth lived in Guthrie most of her life. She enjoyed being with friends and family. She was an avid OU Football fan and liked gardening and cooking.

Ruth is survived by her mother Shirley Johnson and her step father Ben of Guthrie, daughter Brandy Johnson (Daniel Beavers) of Norman, son Brandon Johnson of Anderson, IN, two sisters, Lisa Hutchinson (Tony Mead) of Guthrie, Angela (Rick) Edge of Edmond and brother Johnny (Brenda) Johnson of Guthrie. She is also survived by Uncle Robert (Margaret) Sanders and Aunt Louella Mittlieder both of Guthrie and four grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob and Ethan Beavers and Gannon Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Donald Ray (Donny) Johnson, Jr.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with William Bartram officiating. Interment will follow at Olivet Cemetery, Perkins, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
