Alta Ruth White, age 81 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on August 24, 2021. She was born on February 17,1940 in Brown Station, Missouri to John Henry and Sarah Jewel (McBane) Todd.

Ruth was self employed as a cakemaker, she enjoyed bowling and tending to her flowers in the garden.

Survivors include her husband Samuel White, her three children, Sam White and wife Vicki of Hutchinson, KS, ReJeania Zmek and husband Jim of Guthrie and Rick White and wife Shannon of Guthrie. Ruth is also survived by seven grandchildren, Stephen Zmek and wife Kendra, Cameron Zmek and wife Madeline, Destiny White, Lily White, Marcus Marshall and wife Dustie, Lindsey Dervin and husband Derek, Jessica Webb and husband Everett and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Trevor Ryan White and Andrew Jordan White, siblings Arthur Todd, John Todd, Ruby Brewington and Tommy Todd.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Summit View Cemetery with her son Rick White officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
