Tammy Marie Stephens was a caring fiancé, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on November 27, 2021 at the age of 37. Tammy was born to Lloyd and Billie Jean (Strong) McGarity on February 8, 1984 in Torrance, California

Tammy lived in California most of her life until recently. In May 2021 she moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma which she considered a breath of fresh air.

Tammy loved being the life of the party and having fun. She loved singing, being a KJ (karaoke DJ), being on stage, and making herself and presence known. Some other loves of Tammy's included collecting gnomes, decorating her house, traveling (Las Vegas and New Orleans were her favorites), makeup (especially LimeLife), but her biggest love of all were her children. She was a mama bear and never wanted to let them fall.

Survivors include her fiancé Gary Karr of Guthrie, son Ashden Stephens of Bakersfield, California, daughter Breanne Stephens of Guthrie, daughter Julie Stephens of Guthrie, daughter Maci Stephens of Guthrie, the father of her children Lance Stephens of Guthrie, father Lloyd McGarity of Bakersfield, California, brother David Warner of Bakersfield, California, sister Claudia McGarity of Arkansas, and special family friend Gail Johnston. Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Billie Jean McGarity, children Jordan and Jessa Stephens, sister Laura McGarity, and brother Robert Warner.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
