Terry Wade Long, of Coyle, Oklahoma, passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 65. He was born on February 7, 1961, in Watonga, Oklahoma, to Warren Long and Doris (Reser) Long.

Terry spent most of his life in the Coyle area, a place he proudly called home. Although he spent several years living in Huntsville, Arkansas, he returned to Coyle in 2004, where he remained for the rest of his life. He valued the familiar roads, the close-knit community, and the simple way of life that suited him so well.

A dedicated and dependable worker, Terry spent many years as a truck driver, a profession he took great pride in throughout his life. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to put in long hours to provide for his family. Later in life, he worked for the Logan County district barn for a short time before retiring. No matter the job, Terry believed in the value of hard work and took pride in doing it well.

Terry found joy in the things he loved most. He never passed up the chance to watch a John Wayne film or settle in for a good western. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working with his hands, and tinkering with old tractors. Whether he was fixing something up, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a quiet day, Terry appreciated life's simple pleasures.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Sandra Segura and her husband, Eduardo; his son, Jarret Long; his daughter, Kat Long; his brother, Carl Long; and six beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Doris Long; his daughter, Dawnlynn Long; and his brothers, Rick Long and David Long.

Terry's life was one marked by hard work, resilience, loyalty, and love for those closest to him.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Clarkson Cemetery in Coyle.
