Thulia Belle King, age 81, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away on June 17, 2023, in Cushing, Oklahoma. Thulia was born on June 11, 1942, in Colgate, Oklahoma to Delton and Sally (Hicks) Mefferd.

Thulia lived most of her life in Guthrie. She was a supervisor for Guthrie Greenhouse for many years. Thulia also lived in Carney and later lived in Cushing. She enjoyed fishing, camping, puzzles and her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children, Diann Reupert and husband Ed of Guthrie, Ricky Culie and wife Debra of Cushing and Sue Wilks of Carney, her siblings, Bertie Todd of Guthrie, Larry Mefferd and wife Vera of Meridian, D.J. Mefferd and Junior Mefferd both of Crescent. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Edward, Stephen and Brandon Reupert, Darial Edwards, Shannon Culie, Michael Culie Dustin, Derrick and Tony Wilks, and nineteen great grandchildren. Thulia was preceded in death by her husband Orville Culie in 1979 and husband Billy Ray King in 2018, her parents Delton and Sally Mefferd, three sisters and twelve brothers.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, June21, 2023 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Bo Gibbs and Mark Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
